THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU SHOULD KNOW

1.    That you are a sinner (Romans 3:23).

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

2.    That the penalty of sin is death and hell (Romans 6:23).

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
                Jesus Christ our Lord.

3.    That Jesus paid the penalty for your sin on the cross (Romans 5:8).

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
               sinners, Christ died for us.

4.    That if you will repent of your sins, believe and receive Christ, you will
       be saved  (Romans10:13)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

You can pray the following prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I deserve condemnation. But I believe that You died for me and that You rose again. I repent of my sins and I receive You in my heart as my Saviour and Lord.  I accept your gift of eternal life.  In Jesus' Name, Amen."

And if you did pray this prayer, the Bible says,

5.    You are now saved (Romans 10:13)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

6.    You are now forgiven of your sins (1 John 1:9)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
                cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

7.    You now have no condemnation (Romans 8:1)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

8.    You are now a child of God (John 1:12)

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO, NOW THAT YOU ARE SAVED

1. Be baptized because:

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

2. Be active in prayer and Bible reading (Colossians 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

3. Be faithful in church attendance (Hebrews. 10:25)
